Going Au Naturel
Here is a list of our favourite (legal) nudie beaches:
Alright, let’s get straight to it: if you don’t absolutely adore P.S. Bondi swimwear, we have to ask—do you even like swimmers? 🤔
Because let’s be honest, who wouldn’t love the perfect-fitting, flattering, and fun designs we’ve got on offer? But hey, maybe you’re just more of a “let it all hang out” kind of person? In that case, here are a few of our favourite (legal) nude beaches in Australia, where you can go au naturel and enjoy the sun without the swimmers at all!
New South Wales
- Lady Bay Beach - Sydney, New South Wales For those who want to let it all hang out while looking out at the Sydney skyline—Lady Bay Beach has got you covered. Or should we say uncovered? 😉
- Samurai Beach, near Port Stephens For when you want to feel one with nature, Samurai Beach offers a secluded, clothing-optional space where you can literally leave your worries (and your clothes) behind. You won’t even have to scream “Hi-ya!” (but you totally can if you want to).
- Armands Beach, near Bermagui This beach is all about serenity and freedom. Forget the swimsuit and embrace the beach day like the free spirit you were born to be. Warning: you may start thinking you’re a mystical creature of the ocean. 🌊✨
Western Australia
- North Swanbourne Beach, Swanbourne Swanbourne’s the place where freedom meets the beach. No swimsuits? No problem. Just you and the ocean, living your best “I’m on a beach in Perth, what’s a tan line?” life.
South Australia
- Maslin Beach, Fleurieu Peninsula The OG nude beach. The birthplace of the no-swimwear lifestyle in Australia. You can frolic freely on Maslin Beach, knowing you’re following in the footsteps of all those brave souls who pioneered the “bare it all” movement.
Northern Territory
- Casuarina Coastal Reserve, Brinkin The Northern Territory’s hidden treasure, where you can shed those swimmers and soak up the sun with nothing between you and nature. Just watch out for the local wildlife—you may feel free, but the critters are still in their clothes. 🦘
Australian Capital Territory
- Kambah Pool, ACT The nation's capital has it all - fireworks, Fyshwick and a fab little spot for skinny-dipping! Kambah Pool is the place to shed those swimmers and embrace the refreshing, no-swimwear-needed experience.
Queensland
You Queenslanders are a more conservative bunch and there are no legal nude beaches here...Bummer! In the circumstances, we do highly recommend buying a P.S. Bondi bikini to keep you out of trouble!
